Arkansas Girl

My dear friend, Erin(from Arkansas), was in town this weekend! Erin has worked for me the past 1 1/2 yrs at the store and has become so close to our family! I would truly claim her as my daughter---she is so sweet! However, she recently moved back home to Arkansas to attend college. We miss her so much!

It was a joy to have her visiting this weekend. After a fun day of shopping in Dallas we decided to host our own photo shoot! Isn't she a natural! Thanks Erin....you look beautiful! Just wanted to share her great pics! They look amazing in person....sorry, the web just doesn't do them justice!

I've also been taking pictures of many of the items I need to sell that are looming around my house! Plus, some great new handbags and jewelry that have just arrived.

Be watching our blog for the ONLINE SALE !! Many items will be posted at wholesale! Bring a friend and stop on by! COMING SOON!!!!!!!
Have a great day!

New Arrivals!

Here are a few of the yummy goodies that have arrived for Canton this month. Canton is April 3-6! It should be a good month because I think the weather is going to be really nice!

I just love the bag! It retails for only $23 and is adorable monogrammed. This is the same type of print that I'm having Avery's bedspread made in---cant' wait to see how it turns out!

The other bags from this line are also just as adorable! I'll post more on those later!

We also received these precious monogrammed notepads and clipboards. The notepads have grossgrain ribbon as the black/white fabric! They will make great graduations gifts!

Have a great day! I'm off to clean house---yuck! Hopefully I can get it all done soon so that I can get back to blogging! Thanks for stopping by!

Spring is here!

What a gorgeous day it was today. It was a beautiful(slightly chilly) day for portraits. Thank you Jonah(2yr.) & Luke(1 month) of Mesquite for being so good today while I took your portraits. I enjoyed meeting you and and your parents! Thank you! *I am still learning how to post photos to this blog....I apologize if these portraits are not posting correctly. I can't seem to get them where I want them in the post! :0(

I hope everyone had a blessed and joyful Easter. We had a full day of family from visiting and attending Church with my sister and her family in Italy,TX to spending a delightfuly evening meal with my husband's family in Forney,TX. We just made a big circle around the area on Easter Sunday. I think we are all still worn out.....it was great but still trying to recoupe from our garage sale.

Thanks to all of you that stopped by the garage sale. It was so great to see so many of my former customers! I truly appreciated you stopping by! And a special thanks to all of you that sent wishes for little Avery!

Off to get this house straightened back up. It's always a disaster after a garage sale!

I'll post more later!

Back Home

It feels good to be back in Texas! Avery and I traveled to Kansas and spent 9 days visiting my parents. It was a wonderful visit which included lots of great shopping with MeeMaw, delicious homecooked food, seeing friends and family and much more!

I got my parents new computer up and running towards the end of our stay because I was having major withdrawals from the internet! LOL! So, I'm a little behind on my blog postings due to no internet for the majority of the trip!

This week will be a crazy week. I'm busily preparing for our 6th Annual Neighbor & Friends Garage Sale and have several Spring Portrait sessions booked(weather cooperating). I host this sale at my house every year on Good Friday. It's going to be a MONSTER SALE this year. I've had so much time since closing the store to clean and organize.....my 2 car garage is packed to the brim of goodies to discard. Now, I just have to price it all! I will also have lots of totes, luggage, shoes, purses, and jewelry left from my fall shows that I'm going to have drastically reduced. I don't want to store them until next Fall. So don't miss out!

Off to start pricing! If you want more details on the Monster Garage Sale...drop me an email! This will be one you won't want to miss!

I'll post more later!
Have a blessed day!

Please Forgive!

Scarlett & Savannah Pearman, Waxahachie(Valentine Card Portrait)

For 2 days now I've promised to post some of my latest creations....well, please forgive! Our house has been hit by the cold/fever virus. Avery has had it and so has dear hubby! I hope to get something posted this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed! :0)

I'm currently working on lots of hairbows for canton which is quickly approaching next weekend. I've gotten in about 40 new spools of adorable printed ribbon....so yummy! I love to make hairbows...could make them in my sleep. If you need a hairbow....let me know! I enjoy custom orders!

For now i'll post some of the portrait sessions I've taken in the last few months! Enjoy! Thanks to all of those that have called upon me to take their family portraits.....I truly appreciate your business! Spring will be quickly approaching so be sure to call for a "Spring Portrait Session"! Have a blessed day!

So Proud!

It's a dreary Wednedsay here in Waxahachie,TX. The tornado sirens just went off and not sure really why? There doesn't seem to be any bad weather. I'm trying to get in the mood to craft and post some items for sale but seem too busy texting my girlfriends and surfing the net! I really should get busy while princess is taking her nap.
I promise to post some treasures for sale later today but for now I just wanted to post one of my "So proud moments".

Follow this link to read about a friend of our families and a former student of mine. She is playing Varisty Basketball for Kansas State University(where I received my B.S. in Elem. Ed---GO CATS!!!). She has an awesome personality and just a great gal! Way to go Shalee....I'm proud of all you've accomplished!

And if her mother Jane is reading this.....a special kuddos goes out to you! Shalee's mother was always my favorite teacher in high school and taught me so much! Jane has always been so support of all my businesses through the years and continues to be a great customer when I go home to Kansas for shows! Thanks Jane and I know you and Steve are so proud of your children!
